Question 1

Do I need to install any software?

Accepted Answer

No. Akdmico runs 100% in the cloud: all you need is a browser and an internet connection, with nothing to install or update. If you like, there is also an app for phone and tablet, and Akdmico TV for the lobby television.

Question 2

Is there an app for phones and for the TV?

Accepted Answer

Yes, included in the subscription. Akdmico for iPhone, iPad and Android: families see their children's calendar, attendance and invoices, and your instructors take attendance. And Akdmico TV turns the lobby television into your academy's screen, with the current class, today's schedule and your news.

Question 3

Can I try Akdmico for free before paying?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can request a free 10-day trial: we give you access to a demo academy with sample data so you can explore the whole platform with no commitment. No credit card required.

Question 4

Does the price change if I add more students or courses?

Accepted Answer

No. The price is flat per company and per branch. Add as many students, courses, instructors and staff as you need at no extra cost.

Question 5

Can I manage multiple academies or branches?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Akdmico is built for multi-company and multi-branch management. From a single account you can run multiple academies, each with their branches and fully independent data.

Question 6

How do I pay for my subscription?

Accepted Answer

By credit or debit card when you sign up: your company goes live immediately and renewal is automatic. In Panama we also accept bank transfer and Yappy; in that case we verify the payment before activating the account. Outside Panama, payment is by credit or debit card.

Question 7

Can families pay their invoices online?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every invoice gets a public link you can send by WhatsApp or email: the family sees what they owe and pays by card with no account or password, and Akdmico deposits what it collects into your company's bank account every week. With the online account statement, the family pays several invoices in a single charge and, if you allow it, can also pay part of one. Card collection is available in Panama; in other countries the link shows your own payment methods (transfer, Yappy, cash and any you add).

Question 8

Can I notify families over WhatsApp?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Invoices, receipts, reminders, late-fee notices and announcements can go out over WhatsApp as well as email, from Akdmico's number. Email is included in your plan; WhatsApp runs on prepaid credits you buy inside the platform or, if Akdmico approves it, on monthly usage; a message that is not delivered is not charged.

Question 9

What happens when a family falls behind on payment?

Accepted Answer

Akdmico marks the invoice as overdue automatically every day and, if you configure it, sends a warning beforehand and applies the late fee — a percentage or a flat amount, once or every month. If you reach an agreement with the family, you can waive the fee straight from the invoice.

Question 10

Can I cancel at any time?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can cancel your subscription whenever you want. No long-term contracts, no penalties. Access continues until the end of your paid period.

Question 11

Is support included in the subscription?

Accepted Answer

Yes. WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook support is included in every paid plan at no extra cost. We're available Monday to Sunday from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM (UTC/GMT -5). Inside the platform you also have the help center, an assistant and support tickets. The free trial does not include support: it is a demo environment with sample data.

Question 12

Is my data secure?

Accepted Answer

Yes. All data travels encrypted with SSL/TLS and our databases have role-based access control (Row Level Security), with each company's data isolated from every other. Card details never pass through Akdmico — they are handled directly by the payment gateway.
